Applied Academics for Adult Education (AAAE)
The Applied Academics for Adult Education (Learning Center) is available to help students gain the required skills in language, mathematics, and reading for state technical certification. Prospective students needing remediation may attend the Learning Center before being admitted to a program. Time is scheduled for each person to meet his/her specific needs and may be 1 to 3 hours per day.
When school is in session, the Learning Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. (closed for lunch 11:30 - Noon) and Tuesday and Thursday nights from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Fall 2016 Learning Center & TABE Assessment Schedule - Please note: the full battery TABE test is not offered on Tuesday afternoons
High school students who need required academic credit will attend the Learning Center during a specified block of time each day. Credits are offered in English, math, science, and social studies. A list of conditions for high school students desiring credit will be provided by the Learning Center staff.
